This illustration was developed as an editorial illustration for a story on the nocturnal habits of cats. The concept was initially sketched out by hand and scanned into the computer. The background imagery of room, walls, and couple watching television were drawn in Adobe Illustrator and refined in Adobe Photoshop. The cats were "painted" using Adobe Photoshop's brush tools on individual layers.
